Many people I know seem to be obsessed with where your ancestors are from. If I were able to be a bird for a day I would want to be a Hawk. They soar around being able to see amazing sites ( I wouldn't need my glasses for once) and it just seems so peaceful up there. Lotus Flower and goldfish in my pond. Yes I have taken in another lost woodland creature. It seems people just toss away pets that they no longer want. I found this Cockatiel out by the Koi pond and thought it was a mourning dove (I didn't have my glasses on) and when I looked closer I saw that it was yellow and had a parrot type beak. It just stared at me while I walked over and picked it up. I called the local pet store to see if anyone was missing one and they gave me a lady's number ..I called and said that I had found a cockatiel and wondered if it was her bird..she told me she had lost a cockapoo (a cocker spaniel poodle dog mix) and that she had already found him..well at least that story had a happy ending. You really can't get an idea of how big this puppy is from the photo but he would give that Scottish Lass Nessie a run for her money. while ridding the land (or at least my portion of it) of poison ivy and it's toxic effects on my body, I made the mistake of bleaching this poor little clover ..is it bad luck to bleach a four leaf clover?
